Sidhewolf’s Poetry - Hunger

Ξ September 14th, 2007 | → | ∇ Goddess |

i always give my heart
to all my lovers
i don’t need to be “in” love,
i only need only to know love

i am only consumed by the passion,
but for me if it lingers …
then i know i have tasted love
… that is to say,
if i hunger for more
otherwise
… what’s the point?

i want to see a lover across a room
and flirt with her eyes
… and know, that she see me there
… and that it makes her uncomfortable
in a good way
that is the hunger
it speaks louder than words

she tells me
she wants to do the work together again,
but then won’t come do it
i can only think
it is too much for her
it has always been too much

it is the moth to the flame
sometimes drastic things happen
to open our eyes
and our hearts

Here you will find musing of the Goddess and historical information on Herstory. I will also share my thoughts on the northern isles [Ireland, Whales, Scottland] that have retained the deeply ancient pagan traditions known as the Faery Faith. This is my journey and my truth, as I have come to understand it.

For flavoring, I've added the RSS feeds from the blogs of other sisters who speak their truth. Not all postings here will be my own, for the Goddess has many voices and all are relevant.
